Sir,

CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY AGAINST MY FAMILY
RE: http://www.saharareporters.com/www/report/detail/?id=423

I am constrained to write and inform you of a dastardly plot to tarnish the image of my person and that of my family.

An erstwhile business partner of mine, one Mr. Samuel Iheanacho has chosen to collaborate with some ruthless political enemies of my mother in a vicious attempt to tarnish the public image of my entire family.

In a nutshell, Mr. Iheanacho's disaffections emanate from a failed attempt by him to hijack an IT project I secured through my company. After Mr. Iheanacho unsuccessful tried to force me into ceding 70% equity in the project (our initial agreement was to give him 20%), he began to write false petitions to various security agencies including the EFCC, the SSS and the Nigerian Police Force.

Since March this year, my home has been visited over 20 times by misled security agents responding to Mr. Iheanacho's false petitions. Equally, Mr. Iheanacho has caused policemen to arrest my colleague and me inside court premises when he (Mr. Iheanacho) was arraigned for forging my signature. He even facilitated the arrest of one of my lawyers on a Saturday in a brazen display of intimidation.

Luck however ran out on Mr. Iheanacho when the Police actually investigated and discovered that he had fed the Police false information (a criminal offense). Mr. Iheanacho is currently in hiding and an arrest warrant has been issued against him.

What is most disturbing; your Excellency is that after my mother was nominated in my state for an ambassadorial position, Mr. Iheanacho attempted to blackmail my family by joining her name to his false petitions. My mother has never had any business dealings with Mr. Iheanacho and is not a director or shareholder in any of the companies involved in my dealings with Mr. Iheanacho.

I have invited by the SSS and interviewed concerning a recent and false petition by Mr. Iheanacho. I voluntarily attended the interview and informed them of the truth and that I had actually sued Mr. Iheanacho for breach of contract at an Abuja High Court.

I am wondering if the malicious and false allegations of a man wanted by the police for false information, a man who has been arraigned for forgery, a man who is on bail and a suspect at the Force Criminal Investigation Department could be taken seriously even to the extent of causing problems and embarrassment for a woman who has served this nation selflessly.

The antics of Mr. Iheanacho pose a danger to all well meaning Nigerians as they suggest that anyone can use false information to harass, intimidate, defame and ultimately destroy innocent citizens.

I pray that the vicious antics of Mr. Iheanacho will be thoroughly investigated by the appropriate agencies and that he be prosecuted in line with relevant provisions of the law.

Most respectfully yours,

 Ahamdi Chikwe
