Nigeria’s Consumer Commission, FCCPC Seals Off Abuja Supermarket, Evacuates 97 Substandard Bags Of Rice

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) sealed off the supermarket on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

A foreign supermarket located at Wuse 2, Abuja, has been sealed off for alleged obnoxious practices, information concealment and the sale of substandard bags of rice.

 

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) sealed off the supermarket on Thursday.

 

Speaking while sealing off the supermarket, the acting Executive Vice Chairman of FCCPC, Adamu Abdullahi, said that the situation discovered at the supermarket was unacceptable.

 

According to Abdullahi, the consumer protection commission evacuated no fewer than 97 bags of substandard rice from the supermarket.
