These questions are for the Government's agents who have been employed or in the process of being employed as bloggers to counter what is obvious to most Nigerians- the truth. And I'm anxiously waiting to read from you guys. (1) How much were you paid or being offered? (2) Are you in the Diaspora or at home? (3) Is it an hourly pay rate, weekly wages or monthly salary (4) Is the pay in Naira or Foreign Currency (Please I don't mean the Zimbabwe Dollar) (5) Were you trained or being trained on a short crash course? (6) Do you work from home or in the office? (7) If from home, are you provided with an mobile internet service or have to go to the internet cafes (8) Are there incentives in addition to your take-home pay like 'travelling' to Aso Rock, House of Horror (Oh Assembly) for sight seeing or the Niger Delta for eco- tourism (9) How many days of leave/sick pay am I entitled to? Need to know this because I don't want the EFCC to be after me if I over spent my leave or statutory sick leave as it seems they are even after a fly that flies in the wrong direction (10) Are the vacancies or opportunities opened to the public or only to the Government's cronies?

If my questions are satisfactorily answered then I shall definitely apply as this may be the only chance I will ever have to work for the government albeit against my conscience and soul. - Good Boy

Is a pity that people act against their conscience as long as they are going to get paid, such is the lots of Dora. we all know that Dora is only making noise to create awareness for herself. if she indeed serious about the rebranding, why did she not start with the corrupt official in the past and present administration in which she's part of them, or is she deaf to what people are saying as regard harliburton issues? what about the huge amount spend on power during past administration in which she is part and nothing to show for it. pls Dora say something else........ we are not deceived.

I wonder at times what Akunyili is rebranding. They should rebrand themselves first before selling the idea to us. I short, i beleive is just another avenue to siphone money. Am higly disappointed in Akunyili, just like know other Nigerians do. SR is the place to get the real news. Let them set a thounsand bloggers, it won't make a difference. - R A Akhigbe

Nigeria is a comical country, where we have a lot of sychophants and hypocrites who are mortgaging there lives and that of their children just for the pea nut that will get to them from the looted funds their father has stolen. but posterity will judge them. However, those who are acting as bloggers just because of what they are getting from the government should know that they are shooting themselves in the leg.
I will not be surprise that the Yar'dua administration did not approve the freedom of speech that was proposed just because of his administration inefficiency. In addition, if the government can buy all the news paper in Nigeria to their side, they should know that they can't buy sahara reporters ooooo. - RICHARD AYODELE FRANCIS

Prof Dora Akunyili has changed her spot immediately she was nominated and appointed the Minister for Mis-information. She should have rejected the portfolio knowing fully well the antecedent of the people that held that post in the past no matter how good they were before appointment. From time immemorial we know that even if the Minister for/of Information has any opinion different from the Commander-In-Thief, he/she has to agree at all cost and feed Nigerians with what ever the Pre-in-dent wants her to say. It is never too late Aunty Dora to resign otherwise, this present government will bring to a state of disrepute all the things she has achieved as the NAFDAC boss. She should learn from Ngo Okonjo Iweala! - Adeniyi Fadahunsi

phew!!!!! isn't that something?
I do believe in the creating of a proper image for the country in and outside the shores of this country. And i also believe that concrete steps should be taken towards making the lives of the masses better than ever, what i can stand is making the creating of a false image when nothing is being done to physically back up these images we are trying to create.
The only way we can solve all these is by feeding on the truth for strength and the shaping of our values and a better self concept ...one day we will stand up to all our corrupt leaders, by then it will be impossible for anyone of them to stop us...
saharareporters! keep dishing us these truths as u see them, one day we shall overcome!

Haba Prof. Akunyili has proven time and time again she is on the side of the people. There is not truth to this stoy and she will not support such an action. It is clear Sahara R hates this government, but cooking up a story designed to embarass the Information Minister is not the way to go - Okohia

Why would anyone want to mess this poor woman up. I wonder why Nigerians no like better thing! ok ,accepted lots of things have go wrong but can we right thngs by constant criticisms? branding every govt bad. We all have a roll to play and negative reports will not help our image at all. Lets look at our positives instead of the negatives. Some one has put her life on the line for trhis course the little we can do is be supportive. If everyone sits back and folds his arms and just complains who cleans the mess. - Okorie Chioma

can someone including SR tell me who a good leader is? Obj was not good .... Yar Adua is worse... who do we need? how do we know when we have a good leader so that he does not pass us bye... and lastly I agree to all the comments made above.... but we need to identify the solution and start working at it if we are to honestly expect a different result in the future.. I am in nigeria and doing my bit... what are you all doing besides these commentaries? perhaps we can combine... remember talks do not get things done..... food for thought and a word for SR .... please be careful....you are doing a nice job.... but we could be more constructive... of cause not in the likes of the beyonce "NewsPaper"....cheers - itia00us
